Lead Paint Certified since Spring 2010. This enables us to work on homes built prior to 1978.
Radon Certification (Chris took the course in summer 2010, which is Step #1 in anticipation of future certification requirements.)

Basics of the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code,presented by George B. Terrien, Architect at the MIDCOAST CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS ASSOCIATION meeting, December 2010.
The three most important points were that builders and do it yourselfers can’t just wing it and expect to pass inspection.
George also said that it is far cheaper to have a blower door test done before the sheetrock stage when air leaks are easily corrected than to wait until the project is complete.
Christopher Robinson of Daggett Builders was one of only two builders in the Midcoast who attended the three hour program.

THE STORY
It all started with a phone call from Rick in Tennessee. He wanted to shore up his little boathouse in Friendship.
Chris took before photos, discussed some options with Rick, gave him a detailed fixed price contract, sent progress photos nearly every day, and finished on schedule.
One job led to another and another and another.
Fast forward eight months later, the whole Frost Clan came to Maine to see for themselves what we had done.
We all celebrated over dinner at their house and started talking about next year’s projects.
